The Kirribilly property has a rich history, dating back to 1912 (and most likely earlier!). 1912 was when the original farm cottage was moved on to this property – yes, it was the previous owner who loved their farm cottage so much, they moved it from over 10KM’s away and re-built it here!
Nestled in the serene Hill River area of the Clare Valley, you’ll be in awe gazing at the gigantic mature trees – with a variety of Pine, Wattle, Olive and Eucalyptus trees. At one point, it’s believed that the Kirribilly property was part of the tree plantation program.
At one point, there was Livestock vet who operated out of what’s now know as the ‘Vineyard Lodge’.
More recently the Kirribilly property was used for vineyard management. Storing and servicing the vineyard equipment as well as an office for the vineyard team. The 500ac+ of vines were established in 1997, with under 20ac of vines left that we will be restoring.
